Multiplication Flashcards

A few students are already proficient at their multiplication facts, but most need a lot of improvement in order to be able to complete assignments and exams quickly and correctly.  The students MUST have a set of flash cards covering facts from 2x2 up to 12x12 and they must practice a little bit every night.  As we move from multiplication into division, a solid knowledge of multiplication will help to make division easier.

In particular, Lisa and Kevin need to buy or make flashcards and begin to practice every night.  Rahula and Gary need to use their flashcards and keep practicing, and Bryan also needs to keep his skills up.

Pages 50-65

Students should do a little math homework every night according to the following schedule:

Due on
Tuesday: pgs. 50-53
Thursday: pgs. 54-61
Friday: pgs. 62-65

Students have a lot of pages to complete this week, but the workload should be similar to other weeks. 

I will check each day to see that they have completed the correct pages, and mark late if they are not finished, or if they don't have their book.

Homework is due Friday, November 4
